Font setting ignored

I set the font to the pragmata mono suggested: Screenshot 2023-10-25 at 2 40 01 PM and then ran the enable command and restarted. the UI font now seems to be some times new roman looking thing: Screenshot 2023-10-25 at 2 41 58 PM

this is my vscode install version info:

Hi, do you have Pragmata Pro Mono installed on your computer?

ah no I do not, I tried with other fonts that I do have installed and it still did not work however

I have Pragmata Pro installed but could not get any font settings to work. I updated VS Code and restarted several times after trying several noticeably different fonts.
