Drawing on top of text

In OneNote, we can draw on top of text, almost like a new layer.

In NoteKit, the text is reflowed around strokes. Is there any way to have a setting to be like OneNote?

I could Imagine to do that in a rudimentary Layer System. Layer One: on Top of the Text Layer Two: Text and Drawing Layer Layer Three: Below Text (for underline and Textmarker) It is the way I would approach it from perspective of the current system.

Although It would be cool to already have that functionality, this Project is only Two Years Old. I appreciate the work blackhole89 as well as all other contributors have already put into this.
