CarPlay in app icons disappear after some time

While running the CarPlay app overnight, the icons disappeared. Reconnection and power cycling CarPlay device didn't resolve it. Redeploying the app didn't resolve it either. Only a phone reboot seems to resolve it. Maybe an iOS bug?
