After updating to 8.6.6 my new tab page looks misaligned

Describe the bug

Hello. Yesterday I upgraded to v8.6.6 and now the new tab page is misaligned as you can see in the attached screenshot. It was working fine before updating.

Expected behavior

The sites on speed dial should be centered just as the search bar.

temp fix i found that by unchecking "Allow Firefox to install and run studies" and clearing start up cache it returns to normal on firefox v135.0, im guessing its the "newtabLayouts" setting

Setting browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.newtabLayouts.variant-b to true using about:config fixes this issue for me on Firefox Developer Edition 136.0b9 and v8.6.6.
