Size of US region on world map

Hello. Is it normal that the US region takes up the full width of the world map? Something to do with Hawaii perhaps? Visible in the demo here: http://jvectormap.com/maps/world/world/.

Mine looks like this in the last Chrome screen shot 2016-11-07 at 8 32 01 am. Can you post your screenshot and browser version you use please?

Hi,

I think it's because Alaska have a big part on the left (of the map), et a tiny on the right (of the map). You can see that here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:US_insular_areas.svg (check the blue islands on north "east")
