multiple portfolios in a single instance
I see that I can run multiple instances of the app alongside each other.
But it would be a nicer user experience to have another "tab row" above the current view selection for this.
Bounty: 100'000 sats
Personally I'm not sure how many people need this so I'd at least want to keep the UI in its current simpler form when only a single portfolio is loaded.
When supporting multiple portfolios, I wonder if these should be separate files or whether we should rather support multiple portfolios within a single "Raccoin file". What's your opinion?
The simple UI is a strength of your tool, I agree. Just when I want to open another portfolio, starting the program a second time was not my first idea.
One file per portfolio would be my general idea as well. Any data imported may also go into this file. If that file is an archive imports may also be read-only. But this issue is really about UX.
I would like it for segregation of funds. As I hold separate wallets for bountyprograms, I also have a portfolio for my private funds separate from the donation jar and businesses. Others might like it to have separate portfolios for children and spouses. Tax advisors might like it for clients. Maybe I am delusional, or simply dreaming of endless possibilities.
