This repo is mostly USB devices. :-) Do the wireless developers know about the Intel problem? If it was Mediatek it would get fixed. :-)
What do we need for a USB adapter to use the mini-PCIe cards? I don't know if it would be too big.
That sounds perfect. M.2 would be really low power I think. And small.
Should I post to the linux wireless mailing list suggesting that a USB device that accepts a M2 card would be nice, In case any of the manufacturers are watching....

Thanks for the explanation. The OEM Realtek USB drivers are developed totally separate from the PCIe drivers? That seems like a waste of effort. :-)
I sent feedback to dlink. I'd be surprised if the email makes it to Realtek.
Do you also think an email to Alfa Networks asking for a wifi6 USB device would be useful?
