Tabs have brutal instant 'transitions', no animation. Difficult to implement.

The transitions from tab to tab are instant (or at least they seem instant).

Animations are fiddlesome and routing isn't that simple either. It would be great if at least a basic fade in/out animation could be added to the codebase.

I'm intermediate at Flutter and can't see how to do it.
