Bitwarden App doesn't recognize Android version of Waterfox as a browser when matching Auto-Fill
Steps To Reproduce
Install Waterfox browser for Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.waterfox.android.release
Attempt to perform Auto-Fill.
Expected Result
For the webpage URL to be relayed to Bitwarden.
Actual Result
The package name is relayed to Bitwarden, so instead of sending the URL of the web page being displayed in Waterfox, Bitwarden thinks it needs to find the info for "net.waterfox.android.release." And so it returns the message "There are no items in your vault for net.waterfox.android.release".

No response
Additional Context
It looks like there are numerous other browsers having this issue with Bitwarden thinking it's looking for the login info of the browser and not the url within the browser just from looking at the Open reports still unresolved. Hi @sushix2000,
Thank you for your report. I was able to reproduce this, and have flagged it and that PR internally to the Bitwarden Engineering team.
If you wish to add any further information, such as screenshots or screen recordings, please feel free to do so at any time - our Engineering team will be happy to review them.
Thank you again,
Any update on the progress of this? It has been over two months and the issue still exists.
Yes. Waiting for this feature..
@SergeantConfused Any updates on when this will be implemented?
I am unable to set Bitwarden for the "autofill in other apps" setting in Waterfox. Whenever I select Bitwarden, the setting stays turned off. I am able to set other apps for this setting, the setting will be on if I do this.
The Bitwarden addon for FF Android doesn't work either. I also tried using the accessibility shortcut, but that doesn't work either. Logging into websites is really cumbersome and time-consuming having to keep switching between the Bitwarden app and Waterfox to log in. What's worse is that I have to copy my username and password, which I'm not sure is secure using Gboard.
It would be appreciated if Bitwarden could support Waterfox, considering the privacy concerns.
Waterfox 1.0.9.2 (#2024376461) Bitwarden 2024.10.0 (11270) Android v16.0.183 Lenovo Tab M11
Setting stays turned off:
If I knew how to build apks I would fork and implement the fix others have clearly expressed.
I use waterfox as my main android browser, it's becoming a problem
