Problem with installation on Windows

when i am inserting this command

C:\elastic\kibana\bin>kibana-plugin.bat install https://github.com/bitsensor/elastalert-kibana-plugin/releases/download/1.0.0/elastalert-kibana-plugin-1.0.0-6.4.0.zip

It is stuck on

Optimizing and caching browser bundles...

any ideas? Thanks

That step can take some time but shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. Are you able to install other Kibana plugins? This one for example.

i waited as you said and it worked but now when im going to the section in the browser This is what i get in red "undefined - undefined" no option to define new rules

If that's the case it didn't install properly. Please try installing one of the plugins here so we know if this issue is plugin- or kibana related.
