Remove/Add bcmonitor monitored coins with config

Is there a way to remove/add coins monitored by bcmonitor with config entries.

For some resons I do not want bcmonitor to monitor the XRP Coin and the Connection errors in the log are anoying.

Of course I could remove the coin from the sourcecode but that would mean that I have to do that every time I sync the git repository with my private codebase.

After finding no clue how to remove coins I got curious if there is a way to add coins. I found some hints in the sourcecode that it might be possible if the Coin is registered in the config under "blockchainExplorerOpts". However I would like to confirm that before trying and what makes me doubt it is the fact why are some coins "hardcoded" if that would be enouth and they are already added s default settings if you do not configure anything.
