Describe the bug Using the app mixer to reduce the volume of Zoom below 100% sometimes mutes the application. Note: When the issue is present 2 Sliders appear to affect Zoom, the "Call Audio" and the zoom app slider, when "Call Audio" does not affect Zoom audio then the zoom app slider acts as expected.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Join a Zoom call with audio
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Go to Audio
  4. Set speaker to eqMac
  5. Open eqMac
  6. Modify Zoom Slider
  7. Observe no sound from Zoom when slider is below 100%
  8. If 7 is not observed, restart eqMac and try again

Expected behaviour Audio should be reduced rather than muted

Setup information:

  • Audio device used for playback: AirPods
  • Audio transmission interface: Bluetooth
  • macOS Version: 15.3.1
  • eqMac Version: v1.8.11

Screenshots or Console.app logs Nothing unusual in Console logs
