Describe the bug

When changing the volume via keyboard or in eqMac UI, the sliders in status bar and/or control center are not being updated.

Not sure wheter this is a bug or limit of macOS.

  • Audio device used for playback: MacBook speakrs
  • Audio transmission interface: –
  • macOS Version: 12.5 (21G72)
  • eqMac Version: 1.5.1

Yes this is an unfortunate side effect of hiding the Driver device, but hiding it is necessary for AirPods in ear detection to function properly for some reason 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not sure what to do about it with the current limitations of the API's Apple provides to developers. Will keep this issue open for future reference and updates on the issue. What you can do as a workaround is use the "macOS" style Status Icon in eqMac settings. It mimics the looks of native volume icon: image
