Bug: Changing any setting defaults to the wrong output device when there are Two Output Devices with the Same Name

I'm using eqMac on a MacMini M1 on macOS 11.2.1. I have the latest version of eqMac with auto updates enabled. I have two identical monitors connected to my Mac via HDMI, and i'd like to use one of these monitors as my audio output device via HDMI. However, I can only use one of these monitors as my audio output device (in short, that's the monitor connected to my external speakers, i'll include more details about this at the bottom). Because my two monitors are identical models, the monitor names show up the same in my list of output devices in eqMac. The monitor in the second position on the list is the correct output; however, every time I make ANY settings change in eqMac (turning on/off bypass, enabling the application audio mixer, changing my EQ type, etc), it will change my audio output back to the first of the 2 monitor output devices on the list and I lose sound until I can manually switch the settings back.

Additional info: I cannot use the direct audio output of my computer because i'm using a KVM so I can use my display setup for a second computer. The KVM handle audio through the HDMI. Since I'm "stuck" using audio out via HDMI, eqMac is highly appealing as it lets me adjust audio volume via the keyboard buttons.

Thanks!

Hi @keonr, I do not have two identical device so I can't test this out, is this still an issue on the latest version of eqMac?
