Bug: Can't start the app
App always went blank like this :
macOS Bigsur 11.6, the only way i can't run eqMac is to use the terminal command.
@stormborn95 Update your mac. It works in macOS Monterey 12.0
I had the same issue. Trying out eqMac latest version from the website. I run Little Snitch and monitor new apps, such as this one.
After restarting, I found the same blank white window. Messing around, I realized I had toggled all traffic to block on eqMac and one of those points to what appears to be a server for UI elements. If you look at the help for the app, it lists the UI version separately and with '(Remote)' appended.
It appears the app pulls the UI assets at boot time and if you have the app's network traffic blocked, it will fail to load the UI.
The solution to the blank window is to allow https traffic from eqMac to domain eqmac.app.
same issue here with macOS Monterey 12.4 also running little snitch but did not see any requests blocked and disabled little snitch entirely. did not help. downloaded app today.

Hi, this issue is related to #578, your network environment may be blocking eqMac's UI from loading, please turn off any firewall app or switch networks. Once you have the UI showing, and you need to go back to the problematic network, please uncheck the "OTA Updates" box in settings (see the screenshot in the linked issue) I am closing this issue now, please comment on the linked issue if you have anything to add. Thanks!
