Feature: Implement Hog/Exclusive Mode

Lack of Hog/Exclusive mode in Apple Music is the biggest issue for me while listening to music on a macOS. I'm not aware of an app that provides this option for Apple Music or system-wide on macOS. At least not one that works well; BitPerfect has been useless for some time now.

Any plans to incorporate Hog/Exclusive mode within eqMac? Any technical barriers to that?

Thanks for your request. I'm not too familiar with Hog Mode but saw it all over the Audio API's, I'll do some research and come back to you soon

Thank you, @nodeful . What Hog Mode does is that it gives an app exclusive access to the output device so other applications and OS can't access it. This is important for two reasons. First, no notification sounds or any other playback can interfere with your output sound. Second, you can serve the source file's native sample rate to the output device without upsampling or downsampling.
