Expected behaviour Volume stay consistent before / after launch

Hey, thanks for reporting this, but I noticed you're using a little bit of an outdated version, the latest version is v1.3.1. That being said I advise to not update just yet as I'll be releasing v1.3.2 shortly with a fix for Bluetooth headphones. Once that is out it would be helpful if you could test it out and see if this bug is still present. I will let you know :) Thanks again

Hey again, could you please download the pre-release eqMac.pkg v1.3.2 from here: https://github.com/bitgapp/eqMac/releases/tag/v1.3.2 Alternatively you can enable Beta Program in eqMac settings and press "Check for Updates". And let me know if that fixed the issue for you. Thank you!

Hi, I'm having this issue too, even after updating to 1.3.2. Any time I open the program, my headphones blast at max volume, but the eqMac UI shows my headphones still around 40% volume. Then when I hit the keyboard lower volume button, the headphones return to its original volume.

Downloaded 1.3.2 as well and still experiencing this issue

Ok I'm looking into this now and will fix in the next update if I can replicate this. Sorry for the issue guys

Trying eqMac (v1.3.2) for the first time, and just about got my head blown off by this issue. I just got a new pair of Beats Fit Pro and want to turn the bass down. It also seems to happen when changing presets. Goes to very hight volume for a second then back to expected volume. Concerned that this will damage my brand new buds... :-(

I'm using MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) with macOS 11.6.2.

I'm a software developer (although not a Mac dev) so may be able to help with technical debugging if you need more information.

I also am having a similar issue. I appears when switching audio sources for me. The volume gets super loud.

Running: 3.2.4 (Remote), Driver v2.0.5, App: 1.4.6

Apple M1, MBP Pro 2021

To compensate i have a script that stops any music and puts volume to zero, launches eqmac, makes audio source switches, finally raises volume and plays.

Hi, I can reproduce the issue where switching to and from some audio sources, and we are looking into the bug.
