Support for 32-bit architectures on Android

Open thunderbiscuit opened this issue 2 months ago • 3 comments

We are trying to gauge usage of 32-bit architectures on Android. We are at a crossroad and could potentially drop support for the armeabi-v7a architecture (the triple is armv7-linux-androideabi).

If you have thoughts on this please let us know. Do you have downloads for those devices on your App/Play Stores?

I notice Jetbrains mentions that Compose Multiplatform only supports 64-bit platforms, but I also see that BitKey maybe supports armeabi-v7a?

@thunderbiscuit We do appear to have some 32-bit downloads in our app, however the amount is very small. In a perfect world, they'd still be supported, but I don't think this would be a blocker for us upgrading the BDK in the future if support for these devices was dropped.
