It is currently impossible to make a difference between T2 & T3 - is the documentation wrong or is the information missing at the plugins repository?

Are the plugins really uncritical? Many users depend on reverse proxies such as nginx or HAProxy because they have to route based on the Host header at least because they need the same port for multiple servers. Some users may need to run FRR because they operate at the edge of an AS and without it, they don't have internet access because the other routes don't have the routes back…

We need to improve this section at some point in time, but the basic rule is rather simple.

The maintainer maintains and supports the plug-in, if it’s developed by us as a plugin (tinc for example) it’s tier 2, in time we might mark more plugins at that level after thorough inspection, but this has implications on our support structure (and possibly the plugin at hand).

The rest of the plug-ins are automatically marked community, if unmaintained we might need to drop support at some point in time, since we won’t automatically take over support from the creator.
