Bitcoin Core Software for Mac

My Mac will not let me go through the node setup process after I downloaded the software. I get this prompt...what do I need to do differently? Screen Shot 2021-04-23 at 3 56 03 PM

You should go to your MAC settings, in the security settings, and allow it. Just double check that you downloaded Bitcoin Core from bitcoin.org

Ran into the same issue. Another option is go to your applications folder on finder, right click on Bitcoin core and click 'open'. Screen Shot 2021-08-12 at 10 30 21 AM
