Describe the solution you'd like https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/23475 is likely to be merged soon. A GUI PR is a good followup. Just filling this so it is not forgotten.

Additional context A tickbox option under the send page.

I don't see any sense in this, I think it would be viable to keep the addresses to be available for consultation, it makes no sense to delete the addresses since they are part of the wallet, even if they are no longer used.
