Opening Kleki hyper lags my trackpad for a few minutes

I have no idea why Kleki and only Kleki does this, I am fully willing to accept that it might be on my end. When opening kleki, I'll suddenly have extreme lag when clicking on things (won't register clicks for a few seconds), and it flat-out won't let me click and drag to make strokes, or drag anything onto my canvas from my files. I'm on chrome and using a macbook.

Since when is this issue? I can give you access to a version from before you experienced this problem, to see if it's perhaps unrelated.

Also might be worth it to try disabling extensions.

Only extension I have is ublock origin, which I did disable and it didn't work. I'm currently using the newest version I believe (23-10-31). The lag is inconsistent so I'm unsure how to replicate it, but it tends to happen after an extended period.
