Issue Setting up ESNI in Firefox

Hi Bitbeans

I see you are in the process of Writing a new version of SimpleDNSCrypt, so I thought it best to advise you of an issue with the current version that you may not be aware of. It may just be my system that this is happening on, as no one else has raised the issue.

When attempting to build your own DoH server and you directly add the [local_doh] section in the config file 'dnscrypt-proxy.toml' any time you make changes to the config using the SimpleDNSCrypt interface, when it updates the file it strips the [local_doh] section you've added out of the config file.

If I may make a request. On the main menu page, could you put a note against the DNS-over-HTTPS checkbox that it needs to be unchecked if you wish the configure a local DoH.

Many thanks

ESNI isn’t an angel to save your privacy problem. Be careful with the beta-buggy-browser. You can wait TLS 1.4 and look around the ESNI support of common sites. 🤐

Tell me about it! I have it set up, but it doesn't always work. If I go to cloudfare to test it, sometimes it works and I test it again 10 seconds later and it doesn't.

The comment was more to let bitbeans know that the simplednscrypt frontend strips the derails out of the config file

FLOCKS already know the story. It's not an industrial standard. You should be one of them.
