Question: Why do we need so many 'restore' options?
Reading through the docs, I see there are 4 different restore options:
- Restore Restore the selected files or folders to the original destination.
- Restore to... Restore the selected files or folders to a new destination.
- Restore ‘/path’ Restore the currently shown folder and all its content to the original destination.
- Restore ‘/path’ to... Restore the currently shown folder and all its content to a new destination.
To make things simpler are not "Restore" and "Restore to..." also enough to handle the "Restore '/path' " and "Restore '/path' to..." options?
What is the difference if I use the "Restore" option or the "Restore '/path' " option, and choose a directory and restore it?
Haven't tried it, but iirc, Restore /path
restores only one of the multiple directories or subdirectories instead of the whole backup.
Though yes, maybe instead of four different options you could just have a menu asking where you want to restore to and if you want a full or partial restore.
