Toolbar does not scale on 4k display

Open parrenin opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

I recently tried backintime under KDE on my 4k display using a 200% UI scaling. Unfortunately, the toolbar does not seem to scale. The toolbar was scaling correctly under Gnome. I am using debian testing (Bullseye). I attach a screenshot of the problem. backintime-KDE-toolbar-bug

Apparently this is a KDE problem under X11, so not specific to Backintime: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-workspace/-/merge_requests/139

Seems that this PR was rejected.

But it seems also clear that this problem is not on our site. So why not closing this Issue?

The high-scaling topic is very hot in the GNU/Linux community and a lot of development goes on about it. I'm not able to test but I assume this could be no problem anymore with up-2-date GNU/Linux versions.

Closing because this isn't BIT related. Please feel free to re-open the issue.
