How much burst in downloads can we create by actively interact on the cryptocompare.com website?
Hypothesis
By voting and interacting on cryptocompare we can increase it's share on downloads from 10.56% to 15%
Metric
We would track the downloads from this source in Google Analytics.
Experiment
We need to:
- update and improve the information on https://www.cryptocompare.com/exchanges/bisq/overview
- vote and write reviews on the platform
- reply and vote in forum
Result
- What happened? - What data did we collect? - Anything unexpected?
Next Step
- Pivot or persevere? - Another experiment for this goal? - Do we need to clean up?
great experiment, one question though: how stable has that 5.6% been the last month/year? So in other words, what kind of difference can we say is statistically significant?
At the moment we only have numbers since 16th of November as I've deployed the changes to the website at this time. How long it will take to reach statistically significant is just a matter of numbers of downloads and difference between the current share. I'll set up a formula for that. But good that you asked, I used the sessions not the downloads. Just fixed it in the document above.
