Display of search-only forms is confusing
Reported by email:
I've noticed that when hovering over an sK or sk form with 10ten, the form is displayed with an "(irreg.)" tag next to it. Most sK/sk forms are not irregular. The tags are mainly used for things like uncommon 混ぜ書き forms, uncommon 御- or -無し forms, rare 旧字体, rare 異体字, etc. They're also used for kanji or kana forms that appear in "also written as ..." notes on individual senses. These forms aren't necessarily uncommon/rare.
I think the intention with search-only forms is that they're only for aiding lookups; they're not meant to be displayed in any circumstances. But for an extension like 10ten, I can see why you might want the text under the cursor to match one of the forms displayed in the pop-up. I'm not sure what the best way to handle this is but I've attached a crude mockup of one idea I had. You can probably think of something better.
