filter widget change axis min and max

Often I see data sets that because of a few outliers has most of the data squeezed. Can I change the axis to log scale? or select the axis range to better understand my distribution?

Select range: can be (easily) implemented by chaining two Filter widgets. Log scale: not sure if this is useful, need to sleep over this idea.
