Are there plans to update songbird to work with latest and upcoming versions of Qiime2?

This is a great tool. I can't always get it to work with my data (model fitting is not always easy to land) but I keep trying :)

Thank you for your comments. Yes, we are in the process of developing a second version, where we'll ditch Tensorflow in favor of Stan. Can't give a timeline right now, since its still in active development.

We actually have another iteration that is much more accurate. See below for the preprint and github.

But I’ll be honest, it is not easy to setup and run, since it requires a compute cluster. So we wont be able to have support for qiime2 in the near future.
