Looks like a QT issue.

I know its not a solution and maybe an unpopular comment, but for those of us who can't wait I can confirm that Ktorrent with the Syndication plugin is processing RSS just fine with the latest update to QT.

I'd much rather be using qBittorrent but this will do for now

Or just back up to an earlier release. Worked for me.

i went back to binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn:4.3.9-2-01 and RSS works again

Just updated to the new release today (qBittorrent v4.4.3.1 Web UI (64-bit)) and RSS is now working as expected.
