hi, is there a before_first_fork, where I can config database or others only once? like before_first_fork here https://github.com/resque/resque/blob/master/docs/HOOKS.md

the hooks system has never been fully implemented. It's one of the goals of the 2.0 rewrite that I'm working on right now. Hopefully I will have a lot more to share in about a week.
