USB/Sata cable not compatible with pi

I spend days on cloning a card to disk. I have read info on git a thousand times and nearly gave up. I discovered this and that solved my problem. Swapped the not compatible cheap cable with a sata dock and I am up and running! Maybe helpful for somebody :)
