Automatically resume location sharing on boot

If a phone is rebooted, Hauk will not automatically resume its session, it will wait for me to open the app, then a dialog will show up asking if I want to resume or not, and only if I press Yes then it will continue working.

Thinking of a longer-term location sharing I would like Hauk to share my location until I explicitly tell it to stop, or until the location link expires. This is particularly useful for a location sharing with family members.

When the app needs to be auto-launched:

• On boot, see this for a reference
• On app update, see this for a reference

I would then like Hauk to auto-resume sesson without asking me to confirm (could you please comment on why there is a confirmation in the first place, if the app is recovering from an abrupt stop, it's probably not caused by user's activity anyway?).

Thanks for the suggestion, and sorry for taking so long to get back to you (been a very busy few months lately). I'll see if I can get support for this implemented some time over new years!

As for the reason you're asked to confirm - if I remember correctly, this was mostly to prevent re-launching shares that you might not want to keep sharing anymore. I can add a setting to the app so auto-resumption is configurable.

+1 I have exactly the same need. It would be a great feature that allows the user to set automatic resume.
