Stealthchop mode

How do I use stealthchop mode with tmc2209? I uncommented the tmc2209 config section but when I try to do a homing, mainsail gives me this error:

Unable to read tmc uart 'stepper_y' register IFCNT Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Printer is shutdown
