Big Tree Tech E3EZ + CB2 + Waveshare 2.8 DSI

So I am trying to get a DSI screen to work with the above products and it is not working at all. I have installed and followed the CB2 guide to set the display from HDMI to DSI but nothing has worked.

I am using the newest software from here and flashing it to the emmc on the CB2.

Any input and help would be greatly appreciated.
