can someone tell me if they have managed to get it to work with this motherboard?

I have to check my old configs/source but a tft24 surely works with the MKS GEN L1.0 even in combination with a 128x64 LCD. Allow me to check tomorrow evening. In the meantime, try to be a bit more specific what the problem exactly is. Is your serial connection failing or aren't you able to get anything visual on the display ?

Nowadays, I run a SKR PRO1.0 with a TFT35 and I gave my old Anet with the mks gen L to a friend. So no means to simulate or run your configs anymore.
