[BUG] SKR Mini E3 V3.0 reboot when trying to heat bed

Open RodrigoAEscobar opened this issue 3 years ago • 4 comments

Description

I have a creality cr-10 mini printer, with SKR Mini E3 V3.0 board and the TFT35 E3 V3.0 screen. I installed both on my controller box and flash Marlin using the GitHub instructions. Everything is working except that every time the bed is going to heat the board reboots

Steps to reproduce

  1. [First Step] Turn control board on
  2. [Second Step] Increase bed temp
  3. [and so on...] Board reboot by itself

Expected behavior

Bed to heat to desire temperature Actual behavior

The board reboot and everything is reset to initial state (like when I turn printer on)

I would estimate your problem with a faulty source (dry electrolytic capacitors), or a short circuit in the bed heating heater. The bed has a large current (10-20A). When you turn on the heating, a poor source may have a power problem.

Well same as above. After switching to old 8bit board works perfectly fine... even bought new DC, nothing works...

exactly the same issue - seems to be a production fault
