Bad hotend's heat

Open Decygnus opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

Hello.

I can't understand what s wrong. When i set up temperature of hotend for 200 degrees it cant be reached. It goes from 194 to 206 degrees and after 10 minutes no changes.

I did a marlin PID calibration in pronterface, took new PIDs, but still 194 to 206.

Appreciated for any helping

Is it possible your part cooling fan is blowing in the heatblock. You could try adding a silicon heatblock sock to keep temperature regular.

You used a 24V heater, but your printer is 12V
