Part cooling fan is only on or off

Evidently some were in the firmware I changed something and now my part cooling fan is only on or off nothing in between.... Anybody have any ideas what I might have done to make that happen? Plugged into fan0 port on the board. It was working perfectly a while back, but obviously I changed something.

Soo I uncommented "fan_soft_pwm" And the fan started working like it should variable from 1-100% woohoo ..

But what I don't get is I didn't have that option enabled before and it was working??? Does that mean the hardware pwm quit working? So in case anybody else has this problem you can try enabling fan soft pwm Not sure exactly what it does, but it fixed my fan issue.
