Editing Stencil CLI with Xcode Mac, How?!

Open tewncfarms opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

I'm new to coding, and got everything setup with Stencil, all the NPM and NVM and everything is great. I can pull up Stencil Start and get to my LocalHost. But now how in the world do I Actually start editing the files?!

I downloaded Xcode on Mac which is what the video said, but I don't see any other information about Xcode at all. And I can't for the life of me figure out all to get the Entire File/Theme into Xcode? I copied the whole file and nothing, I copied the contents but it only brought the non-folder files into Xcode.

I am honestly just trying to get friggin conversion tracking codes installed Properly on my entire site, and need to edit the entire site code. But I am just stuck now. I greatly appreciate all of your help!

I would highly recommend using a different editor than XCode, probably something like VS Code
