images (svg and png) get 404 after stencil push or stencil bundle

Expected behavior

seeing my images correctly in production

Actual behavior

i only see my images while working locally and get 404 online

Steps to reproduce behavior

add some images to the assets/icons folder inside a subfolder named "png"

Environment

Stencil-cli version stencil --version: 7.2.0

Node version node -v: v16.20.1

NPM version npm -v: 8.19.4

OS: Mac OS Monterey v. 12.6.7
