Are there any plans to implement Apple Pay for the createCheckoutButtonInitializer?

In our checkout we offer PayPal and AmazonPay as "Express Checkout" options:

These buttons are created using the createCheckoutButtonInitializer from the sdk. We would also like to offer an Apple Pay button as an express option as well. Are there any plans to add this functionality to the createCheckoutButtonInitializer?

Curious if Apple Pay is on the roadmap at all. We're in a similar boat — offering PayPal for checkout, and would like to add Apple Pay.
