Maintenance status?

Given that this project is part of the bigbluebutton organization, I'm assuming it is maintained by the BigBlueButton team.

But given that the last update is already a year old, while the main BigBlueButton repository gets regular releases, it looks like it's not really maintained anymore.

@alangecker You seem to be the sole person maintaining this. Can you elaborate the current state of this repository and the relation to the BigBlueButton team?

I'm just a random person who put a lot of time into the docker repo at the beginning of the pandemic and at one point was asked by @ffdixon if I would like to maintain it as well, but apart from that, I'm in no relation to the BBB organization/team.

Since then I have worked on updates every now and then when I could find the time, but due to a lack of capacity I reduced the work at some point and at the same time asked for support in some places.

the work on the 2.7.x branches (main / develop) is actually pretty dead, but there is now a branch for 3.0 where a lot has happened and will be released together with BBB 3.0 https://github.com/bigbluebutton/docker/tree/bbb3.0
