Yeah, we're checking for `setExecutorFactoryClass(String clazzName)` and if it doesn't exist, we don't think TestNG supports the option. We would need to start looking for both with the new method...

We'll take a look. I'm not sure if it'll be for the next release (8.9), but this is a bug and should work as you expect, I think.

This requires a deeper fix to throw away Zinc compilers or reset them somehow. Closing this for now.

For the Gradle wrapper, we could enforce stdout/stderr encoding to utf-8, if we could guarantee all utf-8 output from all builds, but I don't think this is always the case....

@loosebazooka do you have a workaround for now or would this unblock you?
