Any plans for this in the future?

As a side note, if you are interested. Looks like Sherlock1982 has a fork of the ews managed api working on .Net core: https://github.com/OfficeDev/ews-managed-api/issues/96

Looks promising. Does that one support autodiscover? I believe current version works fine as long as you don't use that capability: ews-linux-nodiscovery
