Map enhancements

The existing map feature is straight out of vanilla Blake Stone, which was great for its time but has some frustrating limitations like not showing player facing direction.

Here are some enhancement ideas:

• Implement something like ECWolf, with a tile-based view instead of Blake Stone's pixel-based one, in particular including an indicator of player facing direction.
• Allow the existing minimap to be shown on the main game screen (maybe in widescreen modes only?), updated in real-time as the player moves and interacts with the level
