[Feature Request] Keep configuration in separate file.

Open PawelWozniak opened this issue 3 years ago • 4 comments

Hi. I found this great extension and it fill in perfectly what I need. But adding many rules in settings.json makes it very big. Could you please add an option to store configuration in separate file and just point to file location in settings?

I plan on adding this feature in the next update. Thanks!

Hi, I'd also find it useful to have this feature.

My rule list is growing, really looking forward to this feature! Thank you!

I would also love this feature! I have a team who is going to be using all the same rulesets, but I don't want to overwrite their other VS Code settings or rely on them having to copy/paste the rulesets in their JSON settings without causing errors or missing some. If we can have the configuration in a separate file somehow, they can simply overwrite that entire file anytime the rulesets are updated.
