Wrong numberformat
Description The numberformat in the Advance Card is different from the rest of Power BI. In attached an image where you can see two numberformats:
- In the advanced card (in the top part of the image), using a comma to as a thousands seperator
- In the default bar chart, using a dot as a thousands seperator
I want both numbers to be formatted the same way, where the dot as a thousands seperator is the one I am looking for. I've tried some other formats (like whole number, without currencysymbol, etc.) and it happens in all these occasions.

Do you see same results in Power BI Online?
Are you using Power BI Desktop version with correct locale? You can go to below link and select your language instead of English and download the Power BI desktop https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=45331
Builtin visuals take locale settings from your system whereas custom visuals takes locale settings from Power BI desktop
Hi @bhavesh-jadav,
Thanks for the quick reply! I did use an English version of Power BI but after your comment I switched to a Dutch installation. I did this on two different machines but the results stay the same. In the screenshot below you can see that the options under Display Units are in a different language (Dutch) coming from the installation of Power BI:
Same goes for the Power BI Service. It is set to Dutch (Nederlands) but the numberformat is the same as shown in the screenshots:
Do you know other settings I can look at?
@bhavesh-jadav,
One more thing: I've tested the Dutch installation of Power BI on both an existing Power BI document and a new one I just created. Both have the same result.
I'm having the same issue. It's also listed in this topic: https://github.com/bhavesh-jadav/Advance-Card/issues/6
A fix would be very much appreciated because this visual is awesome!
I'm having the same issue. metrics in other visualisations work. I am also a dutch power BI user. In the advanced card i get "," instead of ".".
Also in PowerBI online it's not correct.
I also have this issue, also a Dutch power BI user. Rather sad as it makes a great visual with some great features worthless.
