Input element showing up when color pallet is shown

I have been trying to add spectrum. Every things is working what I expected. Just the input text element shows up with the pallet and hides. All the example I checked does not have this behaviour. Is this something I am using older jquery or anything else. Please advise.

I just recently experienced this with spectrum in a Joomla component I am working on. I had to convince Joomla to not use any of the Mootools library before it would stop displaying the input field.
