Incorrect caret position inside/outside text box

Defect descirption Once text doesn't fit into the text box, the caret position is incorrect

Steps to reproduce

• Pick Text tool and place a small text box on the canvas
• Type anything until the text no longer fits
• Type some more

Expected result The caret follows the text off the text box

Actual result The caret is displayed on the last position within the text box

Additional comments The caret position allows the user to judge where the text will appear next once they type anything. The current caret behavior is very misleading
